Today, I'm sharing my reviews on one of the eye mask that My Beauty Diary launched recently - the Dark Circles Intensive Care Eye Mask. It is suitable for all skin types, especially for obvious fatigue and darkness around the eye area. My Beauty Diary Dark Circles Intensive Care Eye Mask are shaped like cute little fishes that hug your eye contours to remove dullness and relieve fatigue. A very unique shape I must say. I can adjust the mask to make sure that both the eyelids and under eyes are well taken care of.

Directions:

After cleansing and toning, first secure the eye mask at the outer corner of the eye. Then gently apply towards the inner corner of the eye. Remove after 10-15 mins and gently massage the essence into skin with fingertips until it is fully absorbed. No rinsing is required. Follow the regular eye care routine to seal in the nourishment. Use 2-3 times a week.

The eye mask gives a soothing, cooling effect when just put on. My eye area felt so refreshed after I took them off. The essence left on the eye areas is a little sticky but is easily absorbed with little massage. As for their claims of reducing puffiness and eliminating dark circles, I haven't used them consistently enough to know, but the skin does feel moist and firm. Please don't expect to see instant results after using it. You probably need to use it consistently for a few months to see the results.

The only downside of the mask is its scent.  It had a slight hint of chinese medicine smell, which I don't really fancy.

Recently got myself 2 bottles of 150ml Avène Eau Thermal Thermal Spring Water Spray. This all sounds amazing, right? To be honest, I absolutely love this product. I use it to set makeup, after hair removal and on my itchy and irritated skin. On some occasions, i would also use it underneath my moisturizer.

My skin used to be very sensitive to Veet hair removal cream, though it works wonder. I feel as though it burns and got a rash from using it. The Avène Eau Thermal Thermal Spring Water Spray however eased the burning sensation when my skin reacted to it, by cooling and soothing the skin instantly.

Directions: Spray onto the skin in a fine mist. Leave on for 2 to 3 minutes, then gently pat dry. Spray on as often as necessary.

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme

Finally got the chance to review the last Burt's Bee product in the Burt's Bee hand and foot package set i bought earlier this year - Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme.

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme comes in a glass jar. I'm not really a fan of dipping my fingers into jars though (fear of dirty the cream inside). When I first opened the jar, I was hit with the almond scent - fantastic but really strong. So I would recommend everyone to take a sniff before purchasing.

The star ingredient in Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme is Sweet Almond Oil. Cold-pressed from the dried kernels of the Almond Tree, Sweet Almond Oil is a medium-weight oil rich in Oleic and Linoleic Acids, proteins and Vitamin D, and is excellent for the skin and nails. It’s also known for its ability to soften and recondition lips while helping reduce moisture loss.

The texture of this hand creme is very thick and rich. It gives an intense amount of moisture but leaves the hands slightly greasy and with a waxy finish.  It takes a while for it to absorb into the skin. I like how it makes my hands soft, smooth, and hydrated the next day. Being so thick it work best as a night hand creme. This would last forever as you need to use very little each time!

Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme

Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme is designed to help hydrate dry cuticles, brittle nails, and fingertips. It uses a combination of sweet almond oil, beeswax, vitamin E, cocoa butter and lemon oil to do so.

It comes in a metal tin, and inside is a solid balm. The tin is small in size and easy to take with you. However, sometimes the lid gets a bit stuck.

The star ingredient in Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme is Lemon Oil. Obtained from the fresh peel of the fruit of the Citrus Lemon tree, this oil is known for its astringent and anti-irritant qualities. Lemon Oil has a natural, refreshingly clean scent. On skin, it cuts through oils and dirt. Leaving smoother skin and softer cuticles.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme smells strongly of lemon. I don't really like it though, but i got used to it after applying it a couple of times.

The base of the product is beeswax, so it has a bit of a waxy texture. It feels a little greasy when I applied it on, but absorbs quickly.

I'll normally use Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme after removing my nail polish ( that's when the nails are driest) or before i go to bed. Give it some 10 minutes. The oils will sink into the skin around the nails and re-nourish my dry nails and cuticles. I wake up with perfectly hydrated and soft cuticles :)

To use it, simply swirl your finger around the product. Then gently massage it into your cuticles.  I would call it a rescue balm for troubled cuticles, brittle nails and chapped/ cracked fingertips. If used regularly, it would keep nails and cuticles in good condition.

Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme

The 12 days in Hokkaido caused me dry, cracked heels and scaly feet. I'm feeling really regretful for not taking care of my feet in Hokkaido. After hearing so much about Burt's Bees product, I decided to buy myself a set of Burt's Bee hand and foot product set to save my poor feet.

The star ingredient in Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme is coconut oil. The flesh of the coconut is rich in emollient fat and, when pressed, yields a white, sweetly-scented, super-moisturizing oil, which is a solid at room temperature but easily melts on the skin.

The foot creme is a tinted gel formula that turns into an oily texture once applied to feet. It's a little greasy but it is full of oils to lock in moisture. This is what that makes the feet so soft. To prevent myself from getting a clear greasy liquid, i will normally give the tube a good shake so it doesn't separate. It also has a lovely, mild coconut scent. I love the smell of coconut and this smells delicious so I was sold!

I usually soak my feet in warm water for 20 minutes before applying the creme onto my feet.  I'll then put on a pair of thin comfortable cotton socks overnight. All the greasiness will be absorbed by morning. After only a couple of nights, the results were significant - smoother skin, cracking visably reduced.

My heels aren’t as cracked or dry as they were, and there’s a definite decline in skin scaliness around the tops of my feet and toes. I'm now able to wear flip flops without feeling self-conscious.  If you've never tried this product and is looking for a way to improve the appearance of your feet significantly, give this one a try. By the way, i use this creme on my elbows or any excessively dry patches too.

The Aqua Whitening Cream is an opaque white cream that is freshly scented.

It might look thick in texture but can be easily blended out and absorbed into the skin :) I'm really afraid that it will leave a white cast  to my complexion that comes off with sweat, and ruin my makeup! Luckily it didnt happen :DD What's more? It doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling after application. The skin felt a lot more smoother and hydrated after application too. I would say its pretty effective in terms of oil control. After application, my face looks shine free throughout the entire day. On certain days, i would still see slight shine on my T-zone area towards end of the day.

I have been using this new product for about a week. To be frank, i don't see any differences in my skin tone. But i do observe that my dull-looking skin has brighten up slightly. Probably need to try the product for at least 1-2 months before i can see visible whitening results.

The Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream scores on smell even before I started using it. I'm totally hooked to its pleasant floral scent. This would be and should be the product's unique selling point :)

Here’s a swatch of of the BB Cream. Texture wise, its quite watery. You might have to apply more bb cream on your face, as compared to creamy bb cream, but at least the face wont feel uncomfortable/ cakey.  This BB cream only comes in 1 shade, which is darker as compared to other bb creams which i've used. It has a grey tinge to it, hence it might not be suitable for people with very fair skin tone.

The Nude Cover BB Cream glides easily and evenly on my skin. This BB cream feels very light on the skin and is capable of keeping my face oil free for about 4-5 hours. I would say that it has good coverage, and is able to conceal redness, freckles and pores well. For extra coverage, dap extra bb cream on the the areas that needed more coverage.  Normally i will dust loose powder after apply BB cream to achieve a matt look. Skip loose powder if you want a dewy look.
What's more? It has SPF 30 PA++. So one lesser step to take when applying make-up.

I was really glad and excited when i was sent the Viccal 3.12 serum. I have very dry skin, probably because i stay in a air-conditioned environment almost 22 hrs a day. I have only used Super Block once during our recee trip to sentosa siloso beach.  I would say its quite effective. At least i don't suffer from sunburn like previous years. For sure, this product (Super Block) definitely gonna be in my camping bag. No way am i going to be a roasted pig this year. LOL

Tips to all:
