Lincoln Park after Dark (The Chicago Collection) is perfect! It's an alluring deep purple that's almost, but yet not black. Honestly, the color is superb and look amazing on short nails :)
I use a base coat and two color coats then a top coat to have long lasting nail color. The nail polish goes on smooth and stays on perfect. On my toes they last 2 weeks without chipping and about a week on my hands.
Tips: Before applying the base coat, use a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover (preferably non-acetone) to ensure that the oily residue is removed from the nail bed. This simple step helps to ensure easier application.
